Job Description:

We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Assistant to perform all aspects of accounting. Essential functions include:

  • Maintain detailed reconciliations of multiple bank accounts.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • The proper accounting and month end closing of the General Ledger.
  • Calculate and post monthly accrued and prepaid expense.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, intermediate proficiency using excel and experience using Sage accounting software is a plus.
