Catalyst Medical Group is looking for an energetic candidate to join our team. This is a full-time position that qualifies for our full benefits package.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Assistant to perform all aspects of accounting. Essential functions include:
- Maintain detailed reconciliations of multiple bank accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- The proper accounting and month end closing of the General Ledger.
- Calculate and post monthly accrued and prepaid expense.
- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, intermediate proficiency using excel and experience using Sage accounting software is a plus.
